THE CINEMA OF GENRE HONORED
HÉLÈNE CATTET AND BRUNO FORZANI PRESENT:
LET THE CORPSES TAN
For our 46th edition, the FNC will take the time to celebrate the singular and audacious work of Belgian filmmakers Hélène Cattet and Bruno Forzani. They will present their latest feature Let the Corpses Tan, a film freely inspired by the tradition of western-spaghetti.
"Cattet and Forzani take a deep dive into the ultra-violent Italian crime pictures of the 60s and 70s for this sweaty, sun-drenched shootout" - NOW Magazine Toronto
We will take advantage of their visit to present the first complete retrospective of their films, features and shorts, as well a master class and a carte blanche where they will share inspirations behind the creation of their latest work. Leather and pistols at the rendez-vous!

The Canadian premiere of L'Usine de Films Amateurs of Michel Gondry runs until Oct. 15 at the Dompark Complex. You will find 12 impressive cinemas setups in an old textile factory to create a free amateur short film.
