Images of Destitute Bolivian Kids Raise Concern in Europe
Watching the shorts on the plight of Bolivian children in the mining region of Potosi hurts. Have we lost all notions of concern and respect for one another ? What has Evo MORALES, now reconducted as Bolivia`s first indigenous President done in his first mandate to reinforce protection of minors in his own country. Nothing, because the situation at present is particularly alarming. Close to 90% of all the children are abused and exploited before reaching adulthood, if they ever do.
