COSTA RICA could be new player in the film industry

Costa Rica churns out five features each year and they are very good ! 

Every Monday on TV, the program  "Lunes de Cinemateca" talks about them. New technology is planned for shooting films in the country.

The TV program usually shows  *cine experimental* dealing with social problems and lack of communciation = drug addiction, prostitution and things people do to make money.

Someone might pretend to have a heart attack in a bus and then someone else gives him some water to drink and says he will gather some money for medical treatment. Then his accomplice, feigning to be a doctor hands him some money and other passengers in the bus follow suite and give him even more money... A trick, cheating ? Planned ahead as a ploy to survive = people will do anything, etc.

Other short films are made by professionals working for  Canal 15, the COSTA RICA University Channel.
