Urbanworld is the leading showcase for urban, ethnic, and multicultural cinema. One of the world's largest competitive film festivals, Urbanworld's mission is to redefine and enhance the roles of multicultural constituents in contemporary cinema. This year, Law Abiding Citizena special premiere of Overture Films “Law Abiding Citizen” starring Jamie Foxx, Gerard Butler and Viola Davis, and directed by F. Gary Gray.

The Urbanworld Film Festival will also feature Roadside Attraction's documentary film "Good Hair", executive produced by Chris Rock, HBO Latino's popular series "Celebrity Habla" featuring voices of U.S. Latino's and ESPN's doc film "Without Bias", focused on the life of Len Bias. Additionally, the festival will showcase studio independent film screenings, panels, screenplay readings, and an awards brunch honoring the festival’s winners. A
