Parzania is breath talking untold story base on the infamous riots of post –Godhra in Gujrat-India. Parzania is a imaginary land of the boy Perzan. The film is inspired from a true story … as told by Rahul Dholkia, the director of the film. The film was premiered in the 36 International Film Festival of India –Goa on 26th November in over packed hall.

According to Rahul, it is a realistic film about what happened during the riots in Gujarat. The message that I set out to drive through my film is that violence in any form whatsoever does not kill just one person but the whole family. The film was shot at actual location with sync sound. And completed in 45 days. It was strenuous to make the film because the subject matter is politically sensitive and morally correct.

Right from scripting, Rahul kept Naseeruddin Shah in mind to play protagonist role of lead character. Nasseruddin played wonderful character with his improvisations, he added.

The story is about how Cyrus, the local protagonist fights for his own sanity and searched along his pretty wife Shehnaz (Played by Sarika) for their child, who lost during the riots.

The film is yet looking out for distributor who has the same passion and belief in the film like the co-producers and the creative crew… an added comment form the Producer –Director.
