Dedicated to contemporary audiovisual creation, the Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin will take place in Paris from 5 to 10 March in the Louvre museum’s auditorium, the Forum des images, the Centre Pompidou, the Carreau du Temple and the Cité internationale des arts. For 6 days, they will create a space for discovery and reflection dedicated to contemporary practices of the moving image.
The event is free entry.

In the presence of 80 artists and filmmakers from all over the world, this edition introduces a brand new international programme, comprising 120 works from 40 countries. By bringing together internationally renowned artists and filmmakers with young and emerging ones, the audience will attend indoor screenings – 90% European and French premieres, cartes blanches, special sessions, thematic video sessions– performances, panel discussions and a daily forum led by directors of art centres and museums, curators, artists and distributors who will share with the audience their experience and views on new audiovisual practices. |

SOME HIGHLIGHTS
The official programme offers many highlights. Among them an exceptional carte blanche to Michael Snow, a carte blanche to Claire Denis with a special guest, new or unseen works by Dietmar Brehm (MoMA New York, Viennale), Zapruder filmmakersgroup (Venice Film Festival, MAXXI National Museum of XXI Century Arts), Laure Prouvost (58th Venice Biennale, Turner Prize), Salomé Lamas (MoMA New York, Visions du Réel, National Museum of Contemporary Art Museo do Chiado).
