The Crash Reel opens Vermont Film Fest

  Through 20 years of astounding action and verité footage, THE CRASH REEL chronicles the epic rise of snowboarder Kevin Pearce which culminates in a life-changing crash. The film is directed by two-time Academy Award® nominated filmmaker Lucy Walker. THE CRASH REEL is a profoundly moving portrait of an extraordinary family confronted with a devastating injury, who come together to help a gifted athlete re-discover himself and find purpose and meaning in the wake of a lost dream.

Kevin Pearce and his brother David, a Special Olympics Vermont athlete, will attend and speak on stage post screening.
