The 15th Odesa International Film Festival announces its dates

_

The 15th Odesa International Film Festival will take place from July 12 to 20, 2024, in Kyiv and is now open for film submissions to participate in the competitive programs.

To submit an application, it is necessary to fill out the online form available on the official festival website and provide all materials specified in the online form by 2:59 PM (Kyiv time) on May 1, 2024.

For participation in the National Competition Program, full-length Ukrainian films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental films, completed in 2023 or 2024, are eligible. Winners of the National Competition are determined in the categories of "Best Ukrainian Full-Length Fiction Film" and "Best Ukrainian Full-Length Documentary Film."

The International European Competition Program accepts full-length European films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental films, completed in 2023 or 2024. The winner of the International European Competition is determined in the category of "Best European Full-Length Film."

Films submitted for the competitive programs may also be selected to participate in the non-competitive programs of the Film Festival. Detailed information about the rules and application process for the 15th OIFF can be found in the "Regulations" section.

Applications for the National and International Competition Programs are open from December 19, 2023, to May 1, 2024.

The 15th Odesa International Film Festival will take place in Kyiv. However the heart and soul of the 15th OIFF remain in Odesa, which will be reflected in the festival programs.

"The previous OIFF was warmly welcomed by Chernivtsi, demonstrating genuine enthusiasm for Ukrainian culture and art. Next year, we will bring the Odesa International Film Festival to Kyiv, where we expect no less warm reception from the capital's film enthusiasts and connoisseurs of quality arthouse films. We sincerely hope that soon OIFF will be able to return to its home in Odesa and invite guests from around the world to celebrate Ukrainian cinema," noted Anna Machuk, the general director of OIFF.

For additional information regarding submissions for participation in the competitive programs of the 15th OIFF, please contact program@oiff.com.ua.
