The 15th edition of the Deauville Green Awards wrapped

On 3 June 2026, the Deauville Green Awards brought together more than 400 committed professionals from the audiovisual, communications, and environmental and social transition sectors. 

Producers, directors, communication experts, environmental specialists, representatives from institutions, companies, NGOs, and the media came together to share their experiences and their visions for a more sustainable future.

With films from all around the world, this 15th anniversary edition once again demonstrated the power of storytelling and visual media to raise awareness, inspire change, and support the transformations shaping our societies.

We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the GoodPlanet Foundation for its warm hospitality and invaluable contribution to the success of this edition. We are also deeply grateful to all of our partners—both long-standing and new—whose trust and commitment make this adventure possible year after year.

Screenings, debates, panel discussions, workshops, emerging talent pitches, and the awards ceremony filled the day with meaningful exchanges and inspiring discoveries. Together, we highlighted the major environmental and social challenges of our time in an atmosphere that was welcoming, inspiring, and firmly action-oriented.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this edition a powerful moment of engagement, dialogue, and shared purpose.

The programme features a selection of inspiring films: an ADEME campaign against overconsumption (The Unseller), two moving short fiction films exploring disability and solidarity (A Matter of Balance and The Red Fish), and the Young Filmmakers Competition Award Ceremony, a parallel competition dedicated to the next generation of filmmakers.

This rich programme aims to raise young audiences’ awareness of environmental issues, empathy, and respect for diversity.
