Technicolor Asia appoints new director of sales and marketing

Technicolor Asia, one of Asia's leading post production facilities, recently added staff to its sales and marketing department in Bangkok.

Gary Fong joins Technicolor as director of sales and marketing. Gary speaks English, Japanese and several dialects of Chinese and is ideally positioned to lead the sales and marketing team within the Asia Pacific region to ensure the highest standards of sales, marketing and customer services practices. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics & Systems Science and a Master of Business Administration in Marketing & Finance augmented by an impressive career with Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and Hit Entertainment. Gary brings extensive experience in marketing, sales and business development across various sub-sectors of the media industry in both the U.S. and Asia.

Zoe Popham has joined as sales and marketing manager where she will be responsible for actively seeking new business opportunities, including market analysis and implementation of sales strategy/plans for various markets. Zoe will identify and develop opportunities to maximize company presence in the Asian market and to coordinate with other in-house department heads and client services to ensure smooth communication with clients, and to establish positive relationships with prospective and current clients. Zoe has a degree in Law from the University of Utrecht (Holland) and the University of Wales (UK), as well as a diploma in screenwriting from the University of London (Birbeck College) and a diploma in filmmaking from the New York Film Academy (Florence, Italy). She has more than 10 years experience in production and post production in the film, TV commercial, documentary and news industries across Asia and Europe.

Finally, Chalattorn ‘Na’ Asawathanyakul has joined the team as sales coordinator where she will provide invaluable support to the team focusing particularly on the Thai feature film and television markets. 'Na' is a keen film lover and has a long background in sales and dealing with overseas clients. She speaks Thai, English and Mandarin having studied in Beijing.

"Technicolor Asia is committed to bringing on board the most experienced, dedicated and customer focused talent," said Paul Stambaugh, managing director of Technicolor Asia. "We believe that Gary, Zoe and 'Na' add that crucial element of professionalism to our existing staff."
