Submit your film film to festivals on filmfestivals.com with FESTIVALEXPRESS

Many thanks for your trust when choosing FestivalExpress, our free digital submission suite.
A growing number of filmmakers and production companies are now using our system to submit film to festivals.
Close to a hundred festivals (Sept 09) are now aligned with this new solution on the market.

A few tips on the service:

You will receive for each film submitted a system email informing you. (check the email in your fest21.com blog profile)
The email takes you online to the new film submission details, follow the link and discover the film title and his status.
By default, the initial film status reads as "submitted".

Know more about the film? Click on the title, and view all the specific information provided like: Title, Language, Running Time, Theme, Production year, Cast, Technical information, contact, trailer if available, etc.

If you think the film matches your criteria change his status to "accepted".

Filmmakers will be informed that they must send you their DVD, along with payment fee (if relevant) and print out of their film page.
You may double check and email them the specs and details or refer to the appropriate link on your website

When the DVD has been received (plus payment): select the status "paid"

Once your committee has selected the film set status to "selected"

You may also select "awarded" if the film turns out to be a winner.

GUIDELINES FOR PUBLICATION ON YOUR FESTIVAL WEBSITE

Submissions to the festival are accepted online via FestivalExpress, once your form completed, your screener must be sent directly to the festival with the reference to your film registration : bearing the name of the film and a print out version of the form on fest21.com.

To complete the submission you must follow three steps:
1. Create your account on Fest21.com, this will create your own blog

2. Register the film in the fest21.com/filmfestivals.com film database if not previously listed.

3. Upload the trailer on your profile, you may want to Feed the blog with more news, images, film stills to showcase and promote: Publish information  using the CREATE CONTENT Button (can't miss that top left)

4. Submit online on the Festival page

FestivalExpress has been created by the joint sites, filmfestivals.com and fest21.com, the leading media covering movie events worldwide. This new online submission suite allows each filmmaker to promote his film and to directly submit his film to participating festivals from the world festival circuit.
