Sylvia Plath’s bees, Ada Limon’s lady horses, any poet’s ode to a beloved. How can we use images in our writing to propel our poems in new directions? Together, we’ll read poems looking for the essence of image-making and how an image can spark a poem, building through repetition, place, and time. Join Miami Book Fair for our upcoming poetry workshop “Looking Again: Moving Through Images” with Shelley Wong taking place virtually in September. Scholarships are available for MDC students interested in attending this creative writing workshop. Learn more here
