Stockholm international filmfest now among BAFTA recognized festivals

21st Stockholm International Film Festival will take place 17-28 november 2010

The Stockholm International Film Festival is now established as one of the leading competitive film festivals in Europe. It is the only Nordic festival accredited by FIAPF and hosts a FIPRESCI-jury.  Last year 180 films from over 50 countries were presented to more than 130.000 public visitors, 450 journalists and 500 film professionals, directors, producers and actors. Among them were Andrea Arnold, Luc Besson, Lee Daniels, Cary Fukunaga, Shane Meadows, Gaspar Noè, Lone Scherfig, Susan Sarandon, Bong Joon-ho, Isabel Coixet, Jaco van Dormael and Yorgos Lanthimos.
