The Icelandic heavy-metal band Sólstafir perform their own compositions to accompany Icelandic cult Viking movie When The Raven Flies by director Hrafn Gunnlaugsson. The film celebrates its thirtieth anniversary this year. In the end of August Sólstafir released their new album Ótta and will be performing songs from the album combined with older music to accompany Gunnlaugsson’s epic tale.  

Hrafn Gunnlaugsson screens his classic Viking saga, When The Raven Flies (1984), at his home at Laugarnes, Reykjavík. Afterwards there will be a Q&A session with the director and a tour of his amazing home, which is part Viking film museum, part exotica themed park. The event is bound to attract a full house.
