Skip City D-Cinema Fest full line up

SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-CINEMA FESTIVAL 2006 
announces the full line up and international jury members


The 3rd SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL 2006, takes place at SKIP CITY (Kawaguchi, Saitama) from Saturday July 15th to Sunday July 23rd.
This year, the festival received 584 submissions from 52 countries and regions.

Cash reward totaling in 17,000,000yen (approx. $160,000) will be given to filmmakers in feature and short competition section. Boy Meets Ghost Hanadashonenshi by the director Nobuo Mizuta, will have its world premiere and kick off the festival.

The festival also includes International Symposium and D-Content market.

Also, we are happy to inform you that a protocol has been established with Lisbon Village Festival (LVF), a first digital cinema festival in Europe, which will be held from June 21st to 25th to promote work interchange.

International Feature Competition

The competition received 283 submissions from 52 countries and regions from around the world. Of these, 12 selected works will be screened. Join us to hear messages from directors in the best viewing environ-
ment with 4K digital cinema projectors.

We welcome three international jury, famous for director for play Robert Allan Ackerman from USA, Yoko Narahashi from Japan (stage director/casting director), Bong-ou Lee from Japan (a producer of Pacchigi!) and the jury president Richard Jobson, a producer of Tube Tales, from England.
