SIMA 2014 Finalists
Out of 448 films from 119 countries, 37 films were short-listed for SIMA 2014. These powerful documentaries capture stories from 29 countries around the world, including: South Africa, Switzerland, Zambia, the UK, Russia, India, Israel, Chile, Western Sahara, the US, Lebanon, Cambodia, Syria, Burkina Faso, Romania, Somalia, Denmark, Jamaica, Greece, Palestine, Haiti, Bolivia, Italy, Nicaragua, Egypt, Kenya, Canada, Burma, and Costa Rica.
The SIMA 2014 FINALISTS will be reviewed by SIMA's team of award-winning JUDGES comprised of media and humanitarian industry experts who will choose the winning DOCUMENTARIES and IMPACT VIDEOS for each Award Category and Jury Prize.

SIMA is an annual international documentary and educational impact media competition + showcase honoring members in the independent film and global humanitarian industries. We award, promote and exhibit the works of independent filmmakers, activists and change-makers, catalyzing creative media that exemplifies excellence in its potential to inspire change.
