San Sebastian Serbitzu Zinemira Award

The Serbitzu Zinemira Award Jury: (Ramón Aguirre (actor), Maialen Lujanbio (bertsolari) and Joxean Muñoz (writter and script writter), have granted the award to the best unreleased film within de Zinemira section to:  BI ANAI (TWO BROTHERS). Imanol Rayo

The prize carries €20,000, gross, for the producer or producers of the winning film.

The Award is sponsored by Serbitzu Elkartea

When their father dies, the younger brother, Paulo, is landed with taking care of his mentally handicapped sibling, Daniel.
Imanol Rayo
Imanol Rayo was born in Pamplona in 1984. He graduated in film directing from the Film School in Andoain, and later studied Film Writing with Michel Gaztambide in Urnieta. Bi anai, his first feature, is an adaptation of Bernardo Atxaga’s hononymous novel, winner of the 1985 Critics’ Award for narrative in the Basque Language.
