SAFILM has added an encore screening of A CLASSY BROAD directed by Anne Goursaud, chronicling the groundbreaking career of Marcia Nasatir, the first woman VP of a major Hollywood studio, United Artists in 1974. Marcia is responsible for bringing iconic films to the big screen: Rocky, Carrie Apocalypse Now, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest & The Big Chill

Marcia passed away on Tuesday, August 3rd - the week of our festival that she loved and supported greatly over the years. Marcia is not only a San Antonio native but an honorary Board Member for SAFILM and our beloved friend. We screened A CLASSY BROAD as an official selection in 2017 and are thrilled to bring it back on Saturday night to celebrate Marcia. Director Anne Goursaud will be in attendance.
