Rose d'or nominees revealed!

Out of 515 submissions, 110 programmes from 22 countries have been nominated for a Rose d'Or Award and have been announced yesterday evening at two simultaneous receptions at BAFTA in London and at the Festival Centre in Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne.

Broadcasters and production companies from 40 countries from five continents submitted their programmes into the competition. Here is the international breakdown of the nominees:
Argentina (3), Australia (4), Belgium (2), Canada (7), Denmark (2), Egypt (1), Finland (2), France (2), Germany (9), Israel (2), Netherlands (6), Norway (3), Poland (1), Portugal (1), Qatar (1), South Africa (2), South Korea (2), Spain (5), Switzerland (3), the United Arab Emirates (1), UK (48) and USA (3).

All programmes will be presented in the digital Film Kiosk where they can be screened by all delegates attending the festival.

The winners will be decided during the 50th Rose d’Or festival, which will take place in Lucerne from 18 - 22 September 2010.
