Prizes & Party for young film professionals at Talent Campus

Berlinale Talent Campus
Prizes & Party for young film professionals

"Cinema is opening the door to the world, cinema is thinking collectively. The Berlinale Talent Campus is a collective endeavour and I am proud to be part of it" said Walter Salles about his involvement as host in the Berlinale Talent Campus which, with more than 60 events, took place at the Berlin House of World Cultures from 12th to 17th February. The third Talent Campus concluded yesterday with a festive awards ceremony and a big farewell party. Winner of the Volkswagen Score Competition is Ognjan Milosevic; and in a vote, the 530 talents named Sainath Choudhury's film Cataract as Talent Movie of the Week.

During the workshops, talks and discussions throughout the 6 days of Campus, 530 talents from 90 different countries were given the opportunity to get into conversation with 80 internationally renowned experts from the world of film amongst them Catherine Breillat, Emi Wada, Christopher Doyle, Roland Emmerich, Dante Ferretti, Mike Figgis, Stephen Frears, Walter Salles, Ridley Scott, Asano Tadanobu and Wim Wenders.

You won't find the same level of motivation anywhere else– is how Linda Kornemann, producer from Berlin and participant of this year's Campus sums up her experience.
