Oliver Masucci attached to Phantom Of Belgrade, thriller by Alex Pettyfer

Dark Dreams Entertainment and MiLu Entertainment announced today that award-winning German actor Oliver Masucci is attached to the action thriller feature film PHANTOM OF BELGRADE.

Propelled to success in Germany by his role in award-winning movie LOOK WHO’S BACK, and most recently ‘ENFANT TERRIBLE’ selected for 2020 Cannes film festival. Masucci stars currently in two TV series, Starz’ THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE and Netflix’s DARK.

Directed by and starring Alex Pettyfer, PHANTOM OF BELGRADE is an original screenplay penned by David Matillo based on the true story of Vlada Vasiljevic, produced by James Ireland and Pettyfer of Dark Dreams Entertainment and Andre L III of MiLu Entertainment.

Synopsis:

While president Tito was on an official visit to Cuba in 1979, a citizen of Belgrade stole a White Porsche. For about ten straight evenings, he drove around the city forcing the police on a wild goose chase in the midnight hours. Several tens of thousands of people went on the streets, every night, to support him, becoming the first oppositional act in the post-war in Yugoslavia. They gave him a name: Phantom

Casting is underway for the female lead role and filming is scheduled for May 2021 in Serbia.

MiLu entertainment is in pre-production on Noomi Rapace’s THE THICKET and Olivia Munn’s ALEPPO, currently casting. Dark Dreams Entertainment are coming off with just released ECHO BOOMERS starring Michael Shannon and Marianna Palka’s COLLECTION.
