Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

MyFrenchFilmFestival back in January 2023

MYFRENCHFILMFESTIVAL, 13th EDITION will run from 13 January to 13 February 2023

MyFrenchFilmFestival, the first online French-language film festival, will be back in exactly one month. All over the world, fans of French and Francophone cinema can enjoy a selection of feature and short films from the most prestigious international film festivals, including some that are unreleased in many countries. This is an emblematic proposal of the plurality and creativity of French and French-language cinema.

Internet users will have access to 29 films, grouped by theme. Comedies, romances, dramas, documentaries, animation, heritage films... As always, all genres will be represented. The festival is offering an equal-representation programming (16 of the 29 films are directed or co-directed by women), reflecting the diversity of voices in French-language cinema.

New subtitle languages

All films on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com will be subtitled in 12 languages: German, English, Korean, Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese and Russian – and, for the first time, Arabic, Mandarin and Ukrainian.

Many films will also be available in other languages, such as Bahasa, Hungarian, Romanian, Turkish and Vietnamese on local platforms.

Subtitles are made possible by the support of the Institut français network and the festival’s VOD partners.

A new visual identity for MyFrenchFilmFestival in 2023

MyFrenchFilmFestival in a few figures

In all, almost 70 platforms are partnering with MyFrenchFilmFestival to broadcast the selected films.

Short films will be accessible for free worldwide, while feature films will be available on demand for €1.99 (or €7.99 for a pack with access to the entire programme* ) on MyFrenchFilmFestival.com.

The festival will be entirely free in Africa, Latin America, Southeast Asia, South Korea, Poland, Romania, Russia and Ukraine.

The Grand Prize of the Jury and the International Press Awards will be revealed on 10 February 2023. The Audience Awards will be announced at the end of the festival.
