Masterclass with Mike Leigh and honorary Award from Iceland President

RIFF attendees gathered for a reception at the President's residence at Bessastaðir on September 30th where his excellency the President of Iceland, Mr.Olafur Ragnar Grimsson awarding Mr.Mike Leigh with The Puffin LifeTimeAward.

One of the foremost directors in Britain today discussed at his Masterclass his long career at a special masterclass at the University of Iceland main hall. The discussion was led by veteran film critic Harlan Jacobson. As an additional treat, Marion Bailey, the lead actress from many of Leigh’s films, was present.
