The 39th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival (July 2 -10), a non-specialized festival with a competition of full-length feature films and a competition of documentary films came to a conclusion July 10 and awarded its prizes:

STATISTICS OF THE 39th KARLOVY VARY IFF 2004

ACCREDITATION
6 665 viewers bought the Festival Pass. Accredited:1 294 visitors, 527 journalists, 456 filmmakers and 905 film professionals.

SCREENINGS
During 9 festival days 416 screenings attended by 123 749 viewers took place. Most of them used their Festival Passes or accreditation cards to get the tickets. The viewers had an opportunity to see 235 films, out of which 15 were world premiers, 28 international premiers and 5 European premiers in 13 cinemas.
