The news in French I English This content and related intellectual property cannot be reproduced without prior consent. ![]() Jonathan Shapiro is on board at the Wavescape Film Festival.Controversial cartoonist Zapiro will be decorating a surfboard, along with other well-known artists such as Guy Tillim, Brett Murray and Richard Scott, that will be exhibited from December 1 to 8 at the Field Office, in Barrack Street, Cape Town, and auctioned for charity on Thursday 8 December. The art exhibition is part of the 7th edition of the Wavescape Film Festival, which is presented by Pick 'n Pay. The 2011 festival features an open air screening on Clifton 4th Beach, and indoor screenings at venues in Kalk Bay and the city bowl. Films this year include the avant garde production Year Zero, as well as hot surfing movies Leave a Message, A Dingo's Tale, Minds in the Water and Come Hell or High Water. Wavescape also screens the amazing and exquisitely made Art of Flight snowboarding film and mountain-biking classic Life Cycles as well as the proudly South African production by Jason Hearn called The Africa Project.
