Jerry Weintraub to Receive Inaugural Legend Award at Hollywood Film Awards

My former boss at Columbia, Jerry Weintraub, the prolific and iconoclastic film and TV producer, will receive the inaugural Hollywood Legend Award at the 17th annual Hollywood Film Awards, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. The first awards show of the 2013 Oscar season, the ceremony will be held on Oct. 21 at the Beverly Hilton. The new award will be presented annually "to an individual who has made outstanding contributions to the entertainment industry."
