ITN Distribution screens The Last Request & Johnny 316 at Drake Fest

Dynamic independent film distribution company, ITN Distribution Inc. (ITN) today announced that they will attend the Drake International Film Festival (DIFF), taking place near Naples Italy from June 22-30. Two films acquired by ITN will be screened as part of the prestigious feature film competition: The Last Request directed by John DeBellis and starring Danny Aiello and Johnny 316 directed by Eric Ifergan and starring controversial actor and filmmaker Vincent Gallo (Buffalo 66, The Brown Bunny). The U.S. delegation will include ITN President Stuart Alson, VP of Acquisitions, Nicole Holland and a selection of cast and crew from both films.

“We are very delighted to be invited to the Drake International Film Festival," said president of ITN Distribution, Stuart Alson. "Our goal is not limited to distribution deals, we also want to get as many accolades and as much exposure as possible for our clients. These opportunities afford a great networking opportunity for the filmmakers and can be leveraged to get financing for future film projects.”

DIFF 2007 will take place at the Royal Palace “Vanvitelliana” of Caserta and will be carried out under the patronage of: Campania Regional Body, District of Caserta, Municipality of Caserta, Chamber of Commerce of Caserta, District Tourism Body. The festival will focus its attention to new and innovative subjects, such as the great potential of digital technology, with the intent of rewarding young talents, as well as creating new possibilities of growth and expansion for the Italian film market. The festival headline this year will be “A new cinema for a new audience.” President Francesco De Lorenzo announced that the festival will screen twelve world premieres and will host galas, cocktail parties and press conferences each evening for filmmakers, press and invited delegates. Additionally, DIFF will honor Richard Taylor (Lord of the Rings Trilogy) and Lloyd Kaufman of Troma Productions for “making a difference in independent and digital cinema.
