Innsbruck nature film festival announces 2026 nominees

F𝗼𝗿 𝟮𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀, innsbruck nature film festival - inff.eu has celebrated films that open our eyes to the diversity of life, our relationship with nature, and our place on this planet.  

For our 𝟮𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, we will feature 𝟲𝟲 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀, including 𝟱𝟱 𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗺𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿’𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 — chosen from more than 𝟰𝟲𝟬 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 from around the world.

At inff, we are not simply looking for the “best” films. We look for films that make us think, challenge familiar beliefs and invite us to see the world from new perspectives.
This year’s selection was anything but easy. The quality of the submissions was incredibly high. 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 to all the filmmakers who trusted us with their stories and shared their work with us. 🙏

We can only show a small part of all the films submitted, but we are thrilled to see how much environmental storytelling has grown and how important a role it now plays in the film industry. We believe these stories matter — and we are proud to contribute our part through inff and its film competition.
