In the Bin Currumbin Short Film Festival launches itself into action this weekend with a mix of some of the finest short films we have ever received. For film program details check out the website www.inthebin.net.au .

In The Bin Film Festival 17th of September The original film festival and the largestof the week, Gates open 3pm Live music and interactive entertainment including Wildlife animals from the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Films start at 7pm.

Cart-orts 19th of September a festival for the whole family to enjoy with a mix of animation and live action films Gates open at 5:30pm with the films starting strictly at 6:30pm.

School Shorts 21st of September A unique festival highlighting a selection of short films made as part of the In The Bin Education Program where students make a short film within a three day period. Each film will be briefly introduced and discussed by Jed Cahill operator of the Education Program. Gates open at 5:30pm and films start at 6:30pm.

Board Shorts 23rd of September The second flagship touring event of In The Bin, Board Shorts highlights the best of sports short film making from local film makers and also film makers from throughout the world. Gates open at 5pm with music and entertainment films start at 7pm.

Where: All festival are out door events and are held at The parklands Opposite the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary (Corner of Gold Coast Highway and Tomewin St Currumbin QLD Gold Coast) (Rain, Hail or Shine)

How much:$5 Each event or for all four events $12

Pre-sold tickets are be purchased at the Village Store and the Currumbin Beach News Agency. Tickets will also be on sale at the front gate of the festival.
