OPENING IMAGINE 2019

OPENING - We have spectacularly opened Imagine 2019 with the Dutch co-production Monos. It was a successful evening!

Martin Koolhoven is our guest on the first day of Imagine. In his programme 'De Keuze van Koolhoven' he takes a dive into the cinematographic past. With this time sects as main subject. There is also a film quiz, we'll see the shorts speculating about the future and there is a Q&A.

Barry Fitzgerald, researcher at TU Delft and author of Secrets of Superhero Science talks about the genetic manipulation of the X-Men, the advanced vision of Hawkeye and the science behind the spider side that Spider-Man uses.

Manson and More: Killer Cults and Cult Movies

In this programme we talk to Charles Manson know it all Ian Cooper. The lecture will be about the rise of alternative religions and sects in California in the 60s, and how their gruesome and much-discussed crimes made The Manson Family and especially her charismatic leader celebrities.
