IFF Bratislava to screen films about corruption

12. International Film Festival Bratislava (4.-11. November 2010)

The Bad Sleep Well, a new section of the International Film Festival Bratislava will present a controversial theme of corruption rooted in business, politics and also film industry itself. Each of the 10 selected films brings a unique perspective on corruption and a different film language to tell the story: a film noir, thriller, psychological drama or an investigative documentary.

With each film having a unique take on the topic of corruption, different speakers are chosen to introduce them. The section will feature personalities from politics, judiciary, journalism and watchdog organizations who will present their personal experience. Whistleblowing, agent provocateurs, journalistic investigation will be some of the topics opened by the experts and films alike.
The first discussion will carry out on the first day of the Festival, on the 5th of November at 11:00 a.m. at Hotel Carlton. The debates are organised in cooperation with Transparency International Slovakia.
