Girona Film Festival

The Girona Film Festival will arrive this next autumn to the 20th edition with the same enthusiasm and vision as on the very first day, that is, to give Girona and all over the world's film directors the opportunity to make their films known, share experiences and stimulate creation.

This short film festival, one of the leading festivals in Catalunya, is now an annual institution. The competition will contain no less than 40 hours of films programmed, from documentaries, animations, and fictions, to experimental films, shot for both cinema and video, from the 6th to the 12th of October 2008, in two main venues in Girona, the Albèniz Plaza cinema complex (Jordi de Sant Jordi Square) and the Casa de Cultura cultural centre (Hospital Square).
