Film Submissions are open for FEST 2027!
EARLY BIRD PERIOD ENDS ON 12TH OF OCTOBER
We are excited to announce that the 23rd edition of FEST — New Directors | New Films Festival will take place between the 19th and 27th of June 2027, and starting today, you can submit your film or consideration.
The applications will be admitted between the 10th of September 2026 and the 24th of February of 2027, at 23:59 GMT. The process begins with the discounted phase of the early bird period which will end on the 12th of October.
- Early Bird:
- 10th of September 2026 and ends on the 12th of October 2026 at 23h59 GMT;
- Submission fee: 10 EUR for short Films and 15 EUR for Feature Films;
- Regular Period:
- 13th of October 2026 and closes on the 26th of January 2027 at 23h59 GMT;
- Submission fee: 14 EUR for short Films and 20 EUR for Feature Films;
- Extended Deadline:
- 27th of January and the 24th of February 2027 at 23h50 GMT.
- Submission fee: 20 EUR for short Films and 30 EUR for Feature Films;
*Portuguese majority productions are exempt from fees
