The 15th edition of FIDLab took place on July 6th and 7th.
Out of more than 430 international applications, 10 projects reflecting 14 production countries were part of the 2023 selection of FIDLab, the international co-production platform of FIDMarseille.
Following the presentation of the 10 projects, one-to-one meetings were held from the beginning of the week, connecting the teams of the projects and film professionals from all over the world. Thanks to the great energy and engagement of the professionals attending this edition, about 320 one-to-one meetings took place.
The producer Alexa Rivero (Altamar Films, France), Mabel Tapia, Deputy Director of the Reina Sofia Museum (Spain), and the producer Dan Wechsler (Bord cadre, Switzerland) were the three prominent members of the FIDLab jury. Thanks to their insights and commitment, 11 in-kind prizes, provided by longtime and new FIDLab partners, are awarded to winning projects, offering them valuable, high quality technical and logistical resources.

A FABRICA AWARD

The Culori award goes to:

This prize, awarded by Culori to a European project, offers a postproduction laboratory in an artist residency in the south of Corsica for a duration of 15 days, to perform color grading work on a 4K monitor with (or without) a technician.

The Fondation Camargo award goes to:
