End of the Pier International Film Festival in action now

End of the Pier International Film Festival, Bognor Regis
April 25th – May 3rd
www.eotpfilmfestival.com
The End of the Pier International Film Festival showcases high quality independent film from around the globe. The aim of the international film festival is to gain recognition for new, low budget and independent filmmakers via the international competition, which by creating the right exposure, the film festival will assist in the promotion of wining entries to other independent, low budget film markets and film distribution outlets. Every independent film requires international funding and distribution outlets.

The annual international film festival competition event, which takes place during May in Bognor Regis is growing into a first class international film market for low budget independent films through screenings and showcases, with a view to create international distribution opportunities for low budget and independent film makers.

Exhibitions and Screenings are the only way to gain exposure for low budget and independent films, the film festival does all of this. Showcasing new independent film making talent helps with potential funding avenues and it is the intention of the film festival organisers to create as many screening and showcase opportunities for low budget and independent filmmakers as possible.

The film festival runs an extensive education program and an exciting series of talks, seminars and master classes alongside the screenings aimed directly at independent film makers from around the world.

"Independent film festivals play an integral role in the film and television industry. The short film is first and foremost a vehicle for new film makers to demonstrate their skill and experiment with fresh ideas. Festivals such as End of the Pier provide a great platform for emerging film makers offering producers the chance to uncover a rich pool of new talent."

- Christian Colson - Joint Managing Director, Celador Films
