Dallas International Film Festival returns

Formerly known as the American Film Institute Dallas Festival, the Dallas International Film Festival invites hundreds of filmmakers and fans over nearly two weeks of film watching. Dozens of world premieres and internationally acclaimed films have been shown at the festival since it started in 2006. The 2011 festival promises to be just as exciting as the last few years and runs from March 31 to April 10. Tickets are on sale now and offer a number of different plans depending on how much access festival goers want.

Due to the length of the festival, attendees will need to find a place to stay if they want to see all the events and attend all the panels.
