CROSSING THE SCREEN is an international film festival, meant to showcase innovative and independent forms of visual art from all over the world.
The Sussex-based film festival is devoted to discovering and celebrating unique voices and up-and-coming new cinema talents, who are not afraid to transcend traditional storytelling.

The inaugural edition was held at the Birley Centre in Eastbourne, East Sussex, in November 2016.
Its 2nd and 3rd editions took place in Eastbourne, in November, over 4 different venues, including the prestigious Towner Art Gallery.
The 4th Crossing the Screen Film Festival (September 2019) was held in the Leaf Hall Community Arts Center to highlight the strong bond with the artistic local community.

The 5th edition (26-29 November 2020) has been held for the first time online-only due to the current emergency of Covid-19.
