The news in French I English This content and related intellectual property cannot be reproduced without prior consent. ![]() Catherine Trautmann re-elected as President of the Eurimages FundAt its last meeting, the Board of Management of the Council of Europe’s Eurimages Fund re-elected Ms Catherine Trautmann unanimously and by acclamation as President of the Fund for a second four-year term starting on 1 January 2021. The President of the Centre National du Cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) who, with the support of the French Minister of Culture, had put forward the candidacy, congratulated Ms Trautmann on a re-election that testified to the excellent results achieved during her first term of office. During this period she successfully led the reform of the governance and functioning of the Fund to its conclusion and adoption by the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe. The details of this far-reaching reform will be finalized during the course of 2021 and it will come into force on 1 January 2022.
