Buster Copenhagen fest for youth

Copenhagen International Film Festival for Children and Youth will take place in four selected cinemas in Copenhagen during the period 12 - 18. september 2005.

The official program

This year BUSTER offers the largest film programme, of the highest quality, in the history of the festival. The newest, best children and youth films have been included in two extended competition programmes with international and Nordic films. Those consist of 11 children films, 11 children shortfilms as well as 11 youth film and 11 youth shorts. The documentary competition program consists of 24 documentaries. The newest Nordic films can be seen either in our film programme or in our video market.

BUSTER’s selection committee has also chosen the following theme series:

Second World War: the newest films focusing on the subject, shown with carefully chosen older classics.

Children and Youth Films from Africa: Get a taste of what’s going on in contemporary Africa, when it comes to children and youth films.

American Highschool: A contemporary and retrospective insight into the heart of the American youth.

Accreditation 2005

You can read all about the accreditation procedure as well as transportation and accommodation at our website, http://www.busterfilm.dk. With an accreditation you will be able to see all films, as well as take part in our numerous seminars free of charge, while you get exclusive access to our new and improved festival video market. Furthermore you are invited to participate in different events that will take place during the festival.

The deadline for accreditation is August 9th .

The Video Market

A fully equipped video market is available to all the festival’s accreditated guests which will again this year be situated at The Cinematek. In the quietness of the video market you can see most of the films included in our film programme as well as all Nordic films, produced since our last festival. A full list of the films in the video market as well as credits and contact information will be available upon arrival in Copenhagen.

Other seminars will be held from Wednesday the 14th until Saturday the 17th. More information about our seminars will be given soon.
