Bruno Chatelin joins new EFA Board from January 1st 2012

The members of the European Film Academy have elected five new members to the EFA Board: the producers Bruno Chatelin (France), Helena Danielsson (Sweden), László Kantor (Hungary), Marek Rozenbaum (Israel) and director Krzysztof Zanussi (Poland). Welcome! And thank you to the parting board members Per Holst, Cédric Klapisch, Despina Mouzaki and Andrzej Zulawski! Thank you!
Bruno Chatelin, your editor, commented "I am so happy that the 2500 members have trusted me with this honor.
As a former film distributor (over 200 films released for Sony and UGC FOX) and co-founder of filmfestivals.com and fest21.com I was hoping that the academy could find a modest role for my film marketing experience.
I sincerely look forward to contributing to the promotion of european cinema from january 2012. Best wishes for a happy new year and a merry christmas."


Re-elected were EFA Chairman Yves Marmion (producer, France), Deputy Chairmen Nik Powell (producer, director NFTS, UK) and Volker Schlöndorff (director, Germany) and board members Daniela Ciancio (costume designer , Italy), Mike Downey (producer, UK), and Antonio Saura (producer, Spain).
