Barcelona Independent Film FestivalL'Alternativa Awards

17th edition of l'Alternativa! the Barcelona Independent Film FestivalL'Alternativa Awards 2010
The festival received 2020 films from 79 countries and selected 51 films to compete in the official sections. The result is a stunning panorama of contemporary independent filmmaking that bears witness to a vibrant community off the commercial circuit.
There are also five parallel sections offering festivalgoers the chance to discover little-known work, as well as a film programme for kids, a seminar on film music, roundtables, professional meetings and a masterclass.
We've put together a packed week of activities to complement the Film Schools section, and the Hall Screen will once again be screening an original programme of films in a unique setting. It's great to be back.
