Martin Scorsese Masterclass in Cannes

 

 

 

AVA Awards : Amitabh, Shahrukh, Ajay Chadhdha, Films Division were honored.

Association of Voice Artistes (AVA) honored superstar Amitabh Bachchan & Shahrukh Khan with “AVA AWARDS 2005” for their voicing talents in a grand glitering show at Bombay Exhibition center, NSE Complex, Goregaon in Mumbai on May 27, 2006. Where as, Mr. Ajay Chadhdha (Lifetime Achivement), Vinod Kulkarni (Male voice of the year), Swati Subramaniam (Female voice of the year), Dot-Spot Production ( Pt Vinod Sharma Trophy for the Radio Play “Chinmasta”), Lingo (Production House Radio), Films Division (Quality production House of the year) were honored with AVA Special Awards.

Awards Show was flooded by celebrities from FILM/TV/RADIO & Entertainment industries which includes stars of yester years like Mubarak Begum, Tabassum, & show boosters like, Johny Lever, Bharat Kapoor, Anjan Shrivastava, Ameen Sayani, Vijay Bhal, Mukesh Sharma, Javed Khan, Ramesh Tiwari, Haridatt Sharma & others.

Shri Dharmesh Tiwari, President, Federation of Western India Cine Employees, in his address, applauded the efforts of Association of Voice Artistes (AVA) for organizing their 1st AVA AWARDS 2005 in a grand scale and termed it as an entertainment industry award and has assured total support from FWICE for all future activities.

Maharashtra Prathmik Sikshan Parishad (MPSP) won two awards for Music and Scripts for the advertisement of “Education for all”. Government of Maharashtra bagged a trophy for script for their television promo on National Integration.

Rajesh Jolly (Character voice for dubbing voice for Hero – Film Gladiator – Character Russell Crow ), Vijay Raghavan (Character Voice for Airtel Promo – Rikshawala), V. Chakravorthy ( Voice over for Airtel-promo - Rikashawala), Ravindran ( Narration – Red Alert, the popular tv programme on Star TV) , won AVA Awards amongst 75 categories for various awards.
