The Milwaukee Short Film Festival is now operated by the Milwaukee Independent Film Society and has scheduled events for rest of this year. First, on April 10- 11th we'll hold a screening of "The Heart Spoke", by Hadrien don Fayel. An experimental portrait of the Cannes film festival's creator. Show time is 8 PM at the Alchemist Theatre located at 2569 S. Kinnickinnic in Bayview.

Also, the 11th Annual Milwaukee Short Film Festival is still accepting submissions for this year's event. Regular deadline is May 30th, final deadline is July 1st. The festival itself will be the weekend of September 13th.

Created by local and independent filmmakers, the Milwaukee Short Film Festival is proud to provide Independent talent with a venue for their work to be seen. MSFF was named the "Best Local Festival" in Moviemaker’s Winter 2006 issue. And was spotlighted by Universal Pictures' Focus Features division last year.
