A first look into TV Drama Vision 2024
As the key market for drama series in the Nordic region, TV Drama Vision 2024 will present a future-facing programme showcasing selected Nordic and European series, creative talents, business trends, and industry insight. With over 50 speakers on stage and 50 showcased series, it's the must-attend event in the region.
In 2024, we will put a spotlight on financing trends and European collaborations, investigate how new technology is impacting business models, storytelling and the creative process, explore how to create long-term sustainability and audience impact.

Meet Sarah Lancashire
We are proud to welcome the celebrated, multi award-winning British actress Sarah Lancashire to TV Drama Vision 2024!
Sarah Lancashire has made a global impact with outstanding performances in renowned dramas like Happy Valley and Last Tango in Halifax as well as HBO Max’s acclaimed series Julia, where she plays the legendary cook, TV presenter and writer Julia Child. Sarah's multifaceted talent has earned her numerous awards and a devoted fan base. In 2023, she accepted the Royal Television Society Award for "Outstanding Achievement" and the UK’s National Television Award for her exceptional body of work. In an extraordinary career, she’s also been BAFTA nominated for film direction and has now set up her own scripted production company, Via Pictures.
Sarah will join the TV Drama Vision stage for a close-up fireside interview with Lars Blomgren, Head of International at Media Res, focusing on her creative process and versatile artistry.

In an exclusive spotlight, the TV Drama Vision explores the audiovisual industries, co-production opportunities and high-end content of the dynamic Flanders region in Belgium.
The Focus on Flanders will dive into the region's thriving audiovisual landscape, showcasing a wide array of series in development and progress. We will uncover the region's latest co-productions, resources, and financing opportunities while engaging with a prominent delegation of Flemish producers, creators, and decision-makers.

In 2024, TV Drama Vision brings key industry experts and decision-makers to the stage to shed light on the current state and future crossroads of the audiovisual.
How is the sector adapting to the reshaping of financing models and the cooling of the entertainment landscape? With AI developing at groundbreaking pace, how is it impacting content creation, distribution, and audience engagement?
Among the sessions to be presented, Ampere Analysis’ market analyst Guy Bisson will join the TV Drama Vision stage with a keynote to showcase the latest figures, facts and trends. The Nostradamus report author and media analyst Johanna Koljonen will give a keynote on the latest industry development and moderate future-facing sessions.

Spotlight on co-financing and series in development
TV Drama Vision annually showcases a wide selection of Nordic and European drama. The 2024 programme will feature a deepened focus on co-financing and showcases series in development.
The photo is from the series This Is Not Sweden, presented in development at TV Drama Vision 2022. The series is a Spanish production by Nanouk Films and Funicular Films in co-production with Sweden's Anagram and SVT, premiered in 2023.

TV Drama Vision moves to Draken - new venue at the heart of the festival
TV Drama Vision conference and drama series market is relocating to the new venue, Draken, starting with the upcoming edition. The iconic 700-seated cinema combined with great meeting areas at the connected Clarion Hotel Draken, will comprise the framework for TV Drama Vision 2024. This year, we are also happy to introduce the wall-to-wall additional stage Drama Hall for in-depth sessions.
Clarion Hotel Draken will serve as the industry centre, providing excellent meeting venues and conference facilities, including a rooftop bar with panoramic views of Göteborg.
