2008 Webby Award Nomination for Zoom In Online
The Pursuit of Design: Marian Bantjes" an Official Honoree in the Documentary Category
Zoom In Online's "The Pursuit of Design: Marian Bantjes" video has been named an Honoree in the 13th Annual Webby Awards in the "Documentary: Single" category.
Out of nearly 10,000 entries submitted to the Awards, less than 15% are deemed Official Honorees -- proving that Zoom In is a key competitor in the online interactive market. Other honorees in the Documentary category include national media entities such as NPR, Newsweek, Frontline and The New York Times.
"The Webby Awards honors the outstanding work that is setting the standards for the Internet," said David-Michel Davies, executive director of The Webby Awards. "The Documentary: Single Official Honoree selection is a testament to the skill, ingenuity, and vision of its creators."
The "Pursuit of Design" series spotlights renowned designers and key industry events, and is a staple of Zoom In Online’s Photo and Design channel. The current "Pursuit of Design" series highlights Compostmodern '08, an interdisciplinary design conference that explores the ways that design and business can blend through the lens of sustainability.
Webby winners will be announced on May 6, and honored at a ceremony in New York City on June 10.
