The screening programme for the out-of-competition strands is almost ready and will soon be published. Special mention goes to the 9 films selected for State (T)error, presenting stories from Belarus, Chechnya, Guatemala, Iraq, Italy, etc.; to the brand new Soundoc section, a spotlight on different music scenes and artists from all over the world; and to Godless America, a section featuring works chosen among the best independent productions from the United States in order to answer our question: "What do American films portray today?"
