14 Goya for Mar Adentro

Mar adentro 14 wins (out of 15 nominations) is a Goya record. Javier Bardem may have missed out at the Oscars, but he did win the Best Actor prize from the Spanish Academy.

NOTE: There's no foreign-language category for the Goya Awards.
Non-Spanish-language films of non-European origin are simply out of luck.
