Matt Tranchin Joins EarthXEarthX just announced a new Senior Vice President of Impact, Matt Tranchin. He joins the EarthX family with the goal of developing year-round campaigns, partnerships, and programming that establishes Dallas as a global hub of environmental leadership and advocacy, while also amplifying locally-led initiatives. Previously, he served in the Obama Administration as the National Service Liaison in the White House Office of Public Engagement, overseeing outreach to non-profits, foundations, and social enterprises. Moving in a very positive direction, EarthX is working to align its efforts with the U.N.’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), connecting our work to a global community and a global movement for the good of the planet and all its living things. Steering these efforts is our new Senior Vice President of Impact, Matt Tranchin. You can read Matt’s bio below and learn more about our interrelation with the SDGs!
It takes a team to achieve these lofty goals and because of EarthxAmbassadors like you who are taking charge in making our world a better place, we will stive to achieve and exceed our goals. Your generosity allows EarthX to educate individuals on the SDGs and allows us to create community programs like Volunteering (SDG 15’ Life on Land) and Little Learners (SDG 4’s Education). With your helping hand, EarthX can continue to amplify the call to act in collaboration with the UN’s SDGs. EarthX’s goal for 2022 is to develop initiatives that elevate each of the 17 SDGs.
This focus on the SDG’s leading into the new year will culminate in our Earth Day Summit and Celebration in April 2022. The Earth Day Summit will feature initiatives and programs for all 17 SDG’s and will be the world’s largest SDG-focused summit.
Matt also serves in a leadership role for several impact-driven organizations, including: President of March For Science, a global science advocacy organization that supports science-informed public policies; President of the Island Resilience Partnership, which structures public-private partnerships that accelerate the transition of island nations toward renewable energy and resilient infrastructure; and President of the Coalition For A New Dallas, an advocacy organization that champions new urbanism public policies to revitalize neighborhoods and the urban core in his home town. Born and raised in Dallas, Matt is married to his best friend Molly, has two little boys, and three large dogs.
Supporters like you make our initiatives like Earth Day Summit, Little Learners, Eco-Art programs, and community volunteering possible. As an EarthxAmbassador, you are taking strides to create a greener, more sustainable planet for future generations. Let’s invest in a greener future. Today.
