Submissions are opened for the Competition Section of Bozcaada International Festival of Ecological Documentary!

We started the preparations for the Bozcaada International Ecological Documentary Festival, which will be held for the seventh time in Bozcaada between October 7-11.

BIFED, born in Bozcaada in order to create an independent space for the production, display and rewarding of ecology-themed documentary films; brings together documentary directors and films from different geographies of the world on a small island, to find solutions for ecological problems, and to share and reproduce hope.  We expect all documentaries about ecology-relared from all over the world to BIFED which has received 450 documentary films from 60 countries last year.

We invite documentaries recorded after January 1, 2016 on global warming, nature, biodiversity, green activism, local peoples, seeds, energy, health, food, agriculture and more.

BIFED applications and movie screenings are free of charge this year as well.

The application deadline for the BIFED 2020 International Competition and the Gaia Student Award is 15 May 2020!
