The Winner of Best Film in the 2016 Disability FIlm Challenge will a Dell Mobile Workstation a screening in the Chinese Theater durring Hollyshorts, and a mentor meeting with the Head of TV Literary & Packaging Department at The Gersh Agency; Roy Ashton!!!! 

Roy Ashton is the Head of the TV Literary & Packaging Dept. at The Gersh Agency, with offices in Los Angeles and New York.    Prior to joining Gersh as Partner in November, 2011, Ashton spent 13 years at CAA.    Starting in the mailroom, Ashton now functions in all areas of Television, helping clients sell shows and package projects at the major networks, major cable and premium cable outlets.   Some of Ashton’s clients include: Mark Canton, Ben Edlund, Steve Kronish, Declan Croghan, and Patty Heaton, among others.  Some of the shows he has been involved with are: CASTLE, GAME OF THRONES, BLUEBLOODS, THE KILLING, FALLING SKIES, THE MIDDLE, POWER, and others.  He has taught at USC’s Film School and founded the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society.   A graduate of Columbia University, Roy now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
